I've been living in Kanata for 4 years and have been casually playing poker for the past 2 of them!6 months ago I began playing online poker, mainly during the winter when I find myself somewhat bored in the evenings. Previously I was playing in bars around Ottawa, for example... Tuesdays @ Don Cherrys on Rideau St, or Wednesdays @ Pier21 in the byward market! I no longer do so for a number of reasons (one of which is the fact that 1/2 the people at these tournaments are wankers), and I now play exclusively online! From talking to friends, family & co-workers I've come to the conclusion that most Ottawa area poker players play at a locally focused poker room called Ontario Poker.
